2025 Marks COCA's 40th Anniversary! Designated by the County in 1985, COCA has been serving the Capitol City Region for 40 years. For this milestone anniversary, we're putting on special programming, events, and resources for our community. For the first time, COCA is offering a second round of our Arts Education Grant Program to be used across two school years! Please note, since funds for this grant come from the Foundation for Leon County Schools, we can only offer this second round grant to public school teachers in Leon County.
COCA’s Arts Education Grant aims to remove financial barriers for arts educators to access resources and arts experiences, classroom materials and equipment, and arts-specific professional development opportunities for their continuing education. This grant supports creative instructional approaches by funding arts-related projects not supported by school budgets. This program is not intended to supplant other funding sources. Its purpose is to support arts teachers who have innovative ideas for enhancing their curriculum or allowing students access to supplemental learning experiences in and through the arts.
Deadline: Wednesday, March 12th
